Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

No wonder Lydia and her mother loved a man in uniform! Those are absolutely gorgeous. I must admit that I love it when the European Royals wear their uniforms. It’s a joy to see the colors, the trim, and the smart tailoring. I also love the long rows of medals and awards, so I must be part magpie! I remember my parents footwear all having those wooden shoe jacks in them, years ago. They had a lot of shoes, but nothing as drool inducing as these boots. I can’t wait to see tomorrow’s chapter! I am still trying to figure out what will happen next.
They are lovely uniforms, aren’t they? The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have a very nice dress uniform, as well.
Whoa, Nellie! The quote from tomorrow’s installment has me all a quiver with anticipation!
It might appear more tantalizing than it is — you’ll have to let me know. But, one thing is for certain — the colonel means business. 🙂
