Leenie Brown

Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

  1. Oh boy! I don’t know if a preacher’s kid is the best fit for Caroline. I’d think her conniving ways would completely go against his inner core beliefs. Although, maybe he would be able to teach her a better way to live. But then again, this is Caroline we are speaking of.

    1. Oh, my dear Jan S., I hate to disappoint but preacher’s kids are not necessarily golden to the core. 😉 (I should know being one of them LOL — not that I was ever less than perfect — that’s my story anyway :D) He also hasn’t just been a preacher’s kid, he has also been the heir to a baronet who took him in as well. (a bit of severe sort of baronet at that)

  2. There may be more to this guy than meets the eye… yes? Dear Caroline… I hope he is a good match for her. Yep… that is for sure.
