“I would say that you have all your life to become acquainted after you marry, but…” he paused and looked toward the far corner of the room where a dressing table stood next to a large wardrobe, “sometimes even twenty-three years is not enough for some to learn what they should know about their mate.”
Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

What a beautiful bed… and that magnificent quilt. Sigh… I look forward to the day this is complete. You have tempted us to the point of exquisite torture. OK… breathe… I can last a bit longer. Whew!!
I agree. That quilt is beautiful! I just scheduled a post for October 25 on Monday night for this story and it’s still not done. This is going to be a long one for me 🙂 And those posts in October — well, suspenseful might be a good thing to call them 🙂
Beautiful bed. I love that Victorian/Regency era and hope to make my bedroom an updated version of that time. My colours are burgundy, dark green, teal, dark gold and creams. I hope it turns out.
I think that style is just so cozy and comforting looking. Love the colours you have picked out! I’m sure it is going to be fantastic. 🙂
