Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

Aaah, that was lovely. The picture is good too and so appropriate. That couple is completely involved with each other and oblivious to anything around them… including the turning of the tide. How appropriate. I can’t wait to read the rest of Wes and Mary, It feels like it has been a long journey bu,t of course, it hasn’t. Congratulations on reaching the end and soon we can have our very own copy. Blessings.
Thanks.
I know I can’t believe this story will be done next week! And then I must start working on the next one 🙂
Truly an interesting way for Mary to finally admit her feelings!
It is a very Mary way if doing it. 😉
I’ve always loved those old Gibson illustrations. And I’d never seen this particular one, very romantic and charming. Probably considered a bit risque in it’s day.
Probably. 🙂 I just love the swept away by love look of this one.
