  • For Leenie’s Book News subscribers there is a sneak peek at the project I have started

I’ll be back on Monday with a story and song pairing. (This month’s theme is Georgiana Darcy’s Music Folder, and we’re starting with a lesson from a music master.)

The January 2021 Saturday Broadsheet

Welcome to a brand new year of monthly updates and a new way of sharing them here on my blog.

Each month I spend many hours compiling The Saturday Broadsheet for my mailing list. Then, I jump over here to the blog and copy, paste, and reformat it in a blog post, which, as you might imagine, takes another bit of time. Because my words for the year are refresh and renew, I have decided to try something intended to streamline things.

Below is a bullet-point summary of the things contained in the newsletter I wrote. Below that, is a link to the public version of the newsletter. The link will just open to a new webpage.

  • I am looking back just briefly at last year and then sharing some plans I have going into 2021.
  • There are a few changes planned and being thought about when it comes to the blog.
  • I have three books that I am planning to publish before the end of March 2021.
  • There are a few sections that delve into budget-friendly reading, including info about January’s 99cent book and a friend’s book bundle that is on sale.
  • There is a video of review snippets.
  • And last, but not least, there is a little bit of info about a wall of stained-glass windows in a cathedral, which I heard about on a program I watched.

That’s a lot of information. I should likely call it a news magazine rather than a letter or maybe it’s a news novelette? πŸ˜€ Whatever you call it, it will take a while to read, so make sure you’re comfortably situated, and then click the link below to begin reading.

When you’re done reading, you can always come back here and share your comments about this news sharing format and anything you read in the newsletter.

Have a great weekend!
