The January 2021 Saturday Broadsheet

Welcome to a brand new year of monthly updates and a new way of sharing them here on my blog.

Each month I spend many hours compiling The Saturday Broadsheet for my mailing list. Then, I jump over here to the blog and copy, paste, and reformat it in a blog post, which, as you might imagine, takes another bit of time. Because my words for the year are refresh and renew, I have decided to try something intended to streamline things.

Below is a bullet-point summary of the things contained in the newsletter I wrote. Below that, is a link to the public version of the newsletter. The link will just open to a new webpage.

  • I am looking back just briefly at last year and then sharing some plans I have going into 2021.
  • There are a few changes planned and being thought about when it comes to the blog.
  • I have three books that I am planning to publish before the end of March 2021.
  • There are a few sections that delve into budget-friendly reading, including info about January’s 99cent book and a friend’s book bundle that is on sale.
  • There is a video of review snippets.
  • And last, but not least, there is a little bit of info about a wall of stained-glass windows in a cathedral, which I heard about on a program I watched.

That’s a lot of information. I should likely call it a news magazine rather than a letter or maybe it’s a news novelette? 😀 Whatever you call it, it will take a while to read, so make sure you’re comfortably situated, and then click the link below to begin reading.

When you’re done reading, you can always come back here and share your comments about this news sharing format and anything you read in the newsletter.

Have a great weekend!

He’s an annoyance. She’s a puzzle. Together, they make sparks fly.

Is love’s enchantment powerful enough for a gentleman bent on remaining single and a lady equally as determined to marry only a man with an estate to come to an understanding? Or will love find itself rejected and shivering under the stars of a winter’s night?

Feeling himself drawn to the enchanting Miss Elizabeth Bennet, Fitzwilliam Darcy plans an escape from Netherfield. It isn’t until his arrangements are all in place that he discovers Elizabeth has made an escape of her own and is now right where he doesn’t want her to be. In town. And he’s about to spend a good amount of time with her and her relations.

December 2020 Saturday Broadsheet

Can you believe we are already at the end of the year? It’s been quite the year, hasn’t it? But before we bid farewell to 2020, let me tell you what I have been up to in my writing life this past month and what is on the horizon to happen (hopefully) before the year ends or just as the calendar turns.

Story Updates

Here are a few updates on stories I have been working on and what I am planning to work on next:

Christmas in Gracechurch Street:  This story was supposed to be on preorder today. It’s not – which fits for this story. It has not been where I wanted it to be the whole time I was writing it. I am a person who likes schedules and routine. This year has been one of working on flexibility, whether I wanted to work on it or not. 😀 However, all the edits should be done by the end of next week, and I have penciled in December 15 as the release day for this book.

Life can be busy. Why not take a few minutes and escape that busyness with one of the four sweet Regency romances in this anthology:

  • Return to your true love in Hope at Dawn
  • Overcome a broken heart and find a happily ever after close to home in Dispelling the Fog
  • Listen to the soft proddings of your heart and find love in an orchard in Apple Blossoms and Whispering Hearts
  • Allow yourself to get trapped in a matchmaking scheme that brings beauty and love to the bleakness of December days in a Lily in Midwinter
