I love all the items that are in this painting. It gives one much to look at, doesn’t it? In chapter 6 of Protecting Miss Darcy, Georgiana is adding to the letter she is writing to her aunt.

Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

I love that picture. I agree with the previous comment… it is an interesting way to store/display items. I imagine they are within easy reach. Leenie, you find the most interesting pictures. Even when they are ordinary things, they are grouped or displayed to best advantage. I love seeing them. Be safe and have a great rest of the week.
I can get lost for hours on the internet looking at pictures like this. I really like when pictures are “everyday” like this one. I’m fascinated with all the items that might have been important enough for someone to have them within reach. At least, I assume they were within reach.
