From the looks of the discarded books on that chair, this lady appears to be having trouble choosing which book to read. 🙂 And that is why I chose this image to share today.
You see, there is no new Thursday story post this week as various parts of my blog are taking a summer break. However, there is a poll regarding what my next Thursday’s Three Hundred project should be. So be sure to stop by tomorrow for that.
Leenie Brown fell in love with Jane Austen's works when she first read Sense and Sensibility followed immediately by Pride and Prejudice in her early teens. As the second of five daughters and an avid reader, she has always loved to see where her imagination takes her and to play with and write about the characters she meets along the way. In 2013, these two loves collided when she stumbled upon the world of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. A year later, in 2014, she began writing her own Austen-inspired stories and began publishing them in 2015. Leenie lives in Nova Scotia, Canada with her two teenage boys and her very own Mr. Brown (a wonderful mix of all the best of Darcy, Bingley and Edmund with healthy dose of the teasing Mr. Tillney and just a dash of the scolding Mr. Knightley).

There are times when I feel the same way when I am trying to decide what to read next.
Me, too!
I sometimes have too many choices myself! Love this painting…the dress…I just wants to touch it.
Oh, I bet it feels soft 🙂
I want that dress. Yeah,I know… I’m too old for such a style… however, in my mind, I am still 18. LOL!! I love that painting. It could be Elizabeth in Bingley’s library trying to find something to read. Or she could be looking for a particular passage to verify something Darcy said. Perhaps she is looking for a passage to substantiate something she stated and he refuted. LOL!! This is a picture that makes you want to write a story about her. Heavy sigh. This could also be that scene at Netherfield where she and Darcy were in the library for 30-minutes. What a scene for him to observe. This is such a lovely picture. Your mind just explodes with possibilities. Oh well, be save, enjoy your vacation time, be healthy.
This painting is full of possibilities!
Oh! Love that painting. That isn’t exactly a day dress 😉 I think she got fed up with the gossips and the dandies and the foot stompers and the matchmakers. Sneaking away to the library to escape. But she can’t make up her mind because nothing can keep her thoughts of that man she saw across the ballroom. Did she want to see him again or not?? Hmmmm…
